Polystyrene in Oman

UPC intends to implement its strategic development in the production of petrochemicals at the Sohar Port, a key industrial deep-sea port in the Sultanate of Oman.

Based on our technical, commercial, industrial, engineering and development expertise and experiences, UPC has targeted the upstream of polystyrenes (the production of styrene monomer), the production of polystyrenes and their downstream, and the downstream of polyethylenes and polypropylenes.

We produce a range of basic petrochemical products including HIPS and GPPS and trade in a full range of petrochemicals, fertilizers, liquid petroleum gas and petroleum products which are produced by our JV partners.
